The Company is NOT a common carrier. Goods are carried subject to the conditions of the Carriage of Goods by Land (Carriers Liability Act - 1967). Insurance will not be arranged by the carrier except with the express instructions in writing of the Consignor.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Cahill's Couriers services, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Cahill's Couriers provides parcel and package delivery services between Cairns, Port Douglas, and Mossman. We strive to deliver all parcels safely and on time, but delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
3. Liability
Backed by $20M Public Liability insurance for safe, reliable courier services.
While we take great care with all parcels, Cahill's Couriers is not liable for:
- Damage to improperly packaged items
- Loss or damage to prohibited items
- Delays caused by weather, road conditions, or circumstances beyond our control
- Consequential or indirect losses
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
- Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses
- Properly package items for transport
- Not send prohibited or dangerous goods
- Pay agreed fees in a timely manner
5. Pricing and Payment
Prices are quoted at time of booking and may vary based on distance, package size, and delivery requirements. Payment is due upon delivery unless otherwise arranged. We accept cash and electronic payment methods.
6. Prohibited Items
We do not transport dangerous goods or illegal items.
